The suite of Education & Training awards, formally PTLLS, CTLLS and DTLLS offers individuals the opportunity to gain nationally recognised instructor/tutor qualifications. The qualification provides an introduction to teaching and aims to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as: Individuals not currently in a teaching or training role, individuals currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training) and individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.

This suite of 3 courses is designed to offer a nationally recognised qualification that can be delivered to suit your learning styles. Blended learning provides the opportunity for flexible study by splitting the study to include both distance learning (e-learning) and classroom based study/assessment. An introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback to learners.

The first stage teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice requirement. All candidates must have access to 30 hours of teaching. This qualification is also suitable for those delivering education and training in any learning environment.
