As an investigative journalist with the BBC, I have worked in many hostile environments. Pakistan was no exception. Currently the most dangerous country in the world for journalists, it was vital we had the best security in place to allow us to film our investigation safely. Working with Shawn Bullivant and his team allowed us to do exactly that and more. His professional approach, his level-headedness and constant sense of calm ensured we got what we went for despite the most trying of circumstances. Rarely has the success of a programme been down to the security we had. That cannot be said for this trip. The success of this investigation is down entirely to Shawn and his team.
